More on Soros and 'open society'
Nice piece on Popper and Soros. [Jonathan David Carson's The Left's Theft of the Open Society and the Scientific Method]. It is clear that Soros never took any serious interest in Popper's ideas beyond the idea of the open society.
It would be harder for people to misrepresent Popper if they actually read him but the OSE is a bit long so I have done a kind of condensed version with commentary.
Interesting that W H Auden used the term open society in the same sense as Popper (not the same as Bergson) and a little earlier (in print).
