Charming Billy (a poem)

Oh where have you gone, Billy Boy, Billy Boy?
Oh where have you gone, Charming Billy?

You are larger than life,
Not a shadow of your wife.
You've got to break those restraints, willy-nilly.

Oh where have you gone, Billy Boy, Billy Boy?
Oh where have you gone, Charming Billy?
It's time to make some noise.
You were never just one of the boys.
Of course you can loose those bonds.  Don't be silly!

Oh where have you gone, Billy Boy, Billy Boy?
Oh where have you gone, Charming Billy?
A deadening boredom has begun.
It's more than time we had some fun.
Bring the warmth back to our lives.  We've gotten chilly.

Come back into our arms, Billy Boy, Billy Boy.
We miss your impish ways, Charming Billy.
Our wings are quickly folding
Under Hillary's constant scolding.
Smile and wink your way back to life, Charming Bill.
