Caught by the Border Patrol
Finally some good news from the Border Patrol.
Paul Brennan was arrested by officers at a border checkpoint in southern Texas on Monday night.
The US Border Patrol said Brennan was now in custody and was awaiting deportation.
It said he had been serving a 23-year prison sentence in Northern Ireland on charges of possessing a bomb and a firearm.
Of course he was living in relative safety in the US after the British dropped their extradition request but it is comforting to know that he'll be finally deported where they can deal with him. And since his fellow terrorists were freed in England Mr. Brennan will probably demand the same treatment and then demand the right to return to the US.
