The Southern Hemisphere ignores Al Gore
If he is going to call it global warming, how can Al Gore ignore the Southern Hemisphere's refusal to go along? Alexandre Aguiar, of MetSul Weather Center, Brazil, reports:
"Southern Hemisphere's ice cover now is at the same level as last June, i.e., a level seen during the last winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Besides, there are two more millions square kilometers of ice now compared to December 2006. And the large positive anomaly has persisted since September"
Here is the chart he provides, showing that the current summer level in the Southern Hemisphere is right where it should be.
Further, he reports:
"In the Northern Hemisphere, the ice and snow cover have recovered to within 1% (one snowstorm) of normal"
