Defining down 'torture'
Ray Robison highlights the lengths to which BDS sufferers will go in claiming "torture" by the Bush Administration. Carol Rosenberg of the Miami Herald is outraged that beard-trimming took place on Muslim detainees at Gitmo. That's right: beard trimming is torture.
Ray takes apart her assertions and points out that this woman cares nothing for the subjection of our guards (who are not allowed long beards) to
"severe physical assaults against the guard force, to include the throwing of feces, urine, semen, vomit, blood and/or saliva."
Beard trimming was done as a disciplinary measure. Medically hazardous attacks are not torture but beard trimming is.
Nice that we understand where Ms. Rosenberg stands.
