FDS: Fox Derangement Syndrome

Keith Olbermann, he of the small mind and big mouth, who laughably tries to channel Edward R. Murrow while personally savaging Republicans, conservatives, and especially the President, has a real problem with proportionality regarding Fox News. This is what he said on his show last night:

Al Qaeda really hurt us, but not as much as Rupert Murdoch has hurt us, particularly in the case of Fox News. Fox News is worse than Al Qaeda — worse for our society. It’s as dangerous as the Ku Klux Klan ever was.
Ed Morrissey easily destroyed Olbermann's idiotic comparisons:
Al-Qaeda killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 and has killed hundreds, if not thousands, worldwide in terrorist attacks. It seeks to impose a radical Islamist Caliphate on the entire world. The Klan oppressed millions of blacks in the US, infiltrating local and state governments in order to ensure that their enemies could never exercise their civil rights. Hundreds if not thousands wound up lynched, and not just in the South.

How many people has Fox News lynched?

How many suicide bombs has Fox News detonated?
Olbermann is an hysteric. And he is the most popular liberal commentator on television. In Olbie's world, the United States is always on the verge of a dictatorship (or already in one) and the Administration is not just bad, not just incompetent, but evil - deliberately murdering American soldiers and Iraqis, all for oil and empire.

A former sports anchor for ESPN, Olbermann should go back to giving the scores and making pithy comments during sports highlights. At least when people laughed when he was on ESPN, they weren't laughing at him.
