Now that Dan Rather is suing CBS for 70 million bucks, we are in for a lot of attention being paid to the man. Which is no doubt what he wants. Videotapes of the depositions will no doubt be entertaining. My suggestion to CBS is that they hire Hugh Hewitt as a member of the defense team, and let him conduct the deposition questioning. Hugh is not only an authority on RatherGate and the blogosphere, he is a very sharp legal mind and when he goes into cross-examination mode (as he does on air from time to time), he is scary-sharp.
