'Brave' artists
The oh-so-brave artistic world, ever ready to be "transgressive", is insulting Christians and Christ again. This time, it is in Australia, where an exhibit includes a picture with the visage of Christ switching to that of Osama bin Laden (courtesy of Sweetness & Light). How provocative! How creative!
Interesting choice, bin Laden. Could have used Muhammad, except, of course, that millions of Muslims have shown their willingness to riot, kill, and assassinate those whom they perceive as mocking Muhammad by, for instance, creating a visual image of him.
Don't you just love the bravery of these artists? It tells us so much about them. There's a word for the kind of people who insult only those who won't strike back.
