Ode to Lindsay Lohan (a poem)

Remember alcoholism is not a choice

Or who in his right mind would choose it?

Glossing over their search for health

Will only help them lose it.

What good is it to have wealth and fame

If your body and soul are wracked

With  sickness within and shaking without

Or  a mind drugged out and whacked.

Kindness lies in supporting their healing

And giving their efforts a nod.

Because there also would be you and I

But for the Grace of God.
