Shamnesty (a poem)
When you search for new electorates,
some in shadows, not hard to find,
you'll have the Judas kiss you need for now to live.
But, when you say you're pro-America,
you must be deaf, dumb and blind,
'cuz, with one word we won't buy the lies you give.
Amnesty, is such an awesome word,
it shows this bill is so untrue.
Amnesty, is thankfully oft heard,
it makes corruption hard to do.
You can always find dum-dumbs,
to buy your pack of lies,
and, up to a point they'll be deceived.
But, when told this word, they'll redden face,
and then you'll be despised,
and then of you they'll not believe.
Amnesty, is such a power word,
of US we know you'll try to screw.
Amnesty is almost always heard,
it makes corruption hard to do.
You can find good cheap meat cutters,
or those that tend and mend,
but you'll compromise security
to probable foul ends.
You can say it isn't amnesty,
but we'll not buy this crap again.
We know. We know.
When you sweat soak wake with clarity,
don't turn from truth discerned.
Your nightmares portend a nation gone.
But don't fall into despair,
for there's little time to turn.
Listen to the ones, whose votes you counted on.
Amnesty, is such an awesome word,
it shows this bill is so untrue.
Amnesty is thankfully oft heard,
it makes corruption hard to do.
You can put a pig in a prom dress and take her to the dance, but your friends are still going to laugh at you. This TED 'the swimmer' KENNEDY bill is a pig at the prom. If you vote for it you won't have many friends (i.e. electorate) that will vote you in as prom king or queen the next time there's a dance.
