Road to Damascus (a poem)
Nancy, with the headscarf and the smile
Walking a dhimmi mile
On the Road to Damascus.
Nancy, with a heartful of bile
Wanting Israel to tarry a while
On the Road to Damascus!
In spite of murder you found Bashar so dear?
For the people of Hama nary a tear?
On the Road to Damascus?
Nancy, if you and Assad made a pact
Condi can unleash the Logan Act
And you may find you have to walk back alone
To atone for the Road to Damascus!
