No WMD in Iraq? (A continuing series)
The Associated Press (via the Times-Picayune) reports that another chlorine truck bomb has been detonated in Iraq; this time in Ramadi. The truck crashed into a police checkpoint and then blew up killing 27 and wounding "dozens" of others. The AP notes that this is the ninth use of chlorine bombs in Anbar province alone.
Fortunately, no CW attacks have been reported in Baghdad proper, despite the fact that US and Iraqi forces have previously seized caches of chlorine gas and nitric acid in the city.
As the level of desperation rises, look for the Jihadists to continue using WMD.
