Muslims rebuke Pope in Open Letter
One hundred Islamic scholars have signed an Open Letter to Pope Benedict XVI. It explains how he got things wrong in his lecture at the University of Regensburg. Of course Islam is nothing but peace, particularly in the Quran and the hadith, so says the Letter.
However, American Thinker has published many articles to balance out and complete the only positive image of Islam presented by and endorsed by these scholars.
For the full picture of the Islamic rules of war as established by Muhammad, for example, go here and here. For an article that explains more fully the forced conversions that took place while Muslim armies stood in the foreground or background, go here. This article explains why Islam today suppresses freedom of religion. Why does this happen today? It's found in the example of Muhammad and in Islamic law based squarely on the Quran and hadith.
The goal at American Thinker is to tell the entire story about this religion. Only then can dialogue really happen.
