You knew this was coming
According to a news agency called All Headline News, a Jack Bauer action figure (aka, doll) is going to be coming to toy stores everywhere.
Action figure Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland on FOX's "24," is set to hit toy shelves this summer, in August.Todd McFarlane, CEO of McFarlane Toys, went on the set of the hit show a couple of months ago to observe Kiefer Sutherland's every move and facial expression closely. Thankfully, he says the actor was very cooperative being stared at for two hours every day.He explained at a Hong Kong toy fair, "Kiefer understands the process of being poked and prodded. He understands you have to do certain things to get your job done, even if it means having some ancillary product out there."The action figure will showcase the character in a bulletproof vest with his gun raised and will sell for $10 - $12. In the future, the figures will have Bauer "pouncing, diving and running" and another Bauer seen kicking down a door will be released during the Christmas holidays.
One can only ask what took them so long. According to the report, other characters from the series may also get their own action figures. If they make one with Chloe shooting her automatic weapon from last year's series, I will buy one.
