Well, you could have knocked me down with a feather when I saw it. But it's true, London's mayoral answer to Lenin (but without brains) Ken Livingstone is to debate Islam  expert Daniel Pipes in London on January 20, 2007.  The bash is billed as "A World Civilisation or a Clash of Civilisations". The premise between them is that Livinsgtone, being pals with various Muslim hatemongering clerics, will put forward how multicultural London (that's the same London representatives of Islam's "civilisation" attempted to maim and mutilate a couple of years ago) represents a key example of how two civilisations can integrate successfully. Pipes being a non-PC type who lives on Planet Earth and has experienced both "civilisations" will however contend that while one is indeed a civilisation the other represents barbarianism.  [emphasis in the original]
