Boston imams arrested

By

The Boston Globe reports that 3 local imams have been arrested on charges of involvement in a scheme to obtain "religious worker" visas fraudulently. In an era when Muslim religious figures have become propagandists leading their followers to extremism and have been implicated in terror attacks around the world (remember the first World Trade Center attacks), and when mosques have been used as weapons arsenals, is it wise to let our deference to religious sensibilities be so abused?

Update: Joe Crowley writes that the total number arrested is now 29.
