Good fences = safety from neighbors
China has joined the growing ranks of countries that are thinking of or have erected fences/barriers to either imprison their citizens or to keep outsiders from illegally entering. Like Saudi Arabia, for example. And so far, not a peep from the UN nor a blistering release from Human Wrongs Watch or Amnesty International for anyone but Israel.
But wait! Perhaps disclosure of the drug war along the border between the US and Mexico plus revelations that Arabs are receiving false papers and Spanish language lessons before they illegally sneak into the country along with Mexicans and other Latin Americans will spur more talk of a border barrier.
Or perhaps Israel will reinforce its fence which has reduced terror. And then these guardians of only some people will awaken and speak down.
