Another House sex scandal for the Dems
Human Events has broken the story of
Democrat congressional candidate Mike Arcuri, [who] while serving as district attorney of Oneida County, N.Y., has billed taxpayers for several questionable expenses, including a call to a phone—sex hotline.
There are no teenage boy victims, to be sure, so the emotional impact will not rival that of Mark Foley's misbheavior. But in the calculus of the contest ofr the majority, this places in jeapordy a win for the Democrats in this closely contested district.
The race for New York's 24th District is considered one of the most competitive in the country. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has invested money in Arcuri's race as part of its 'Red to Blue' program, and Vice President Cheney and First Lady Laura Bush have held fundraisers in the district on Meier's behalf. Meier is one of 21 candidates endorsed by Rightroots.
We all will soon need to behave like the Amish to run for office. Well over 80% of hotel movies that re paid for are porn. A cost of doing business. I guess. It leaves a data trail, too.
