The Qana air strike and Hezb'allah

By

This short clip by  BBC's Peter Marshall about the 'Qana airstrike' in July, 2006 draws the conclusion that 'Hezbollah weren't around' on that Sunday. That is simply wrongwrong.

gettyimages has an image (ID 71468986) shot by HASSAN AMMAR/Stringer on 18 Jul 2006, i.e. 12 days before the alleged attack, that shows a black bearded man with glasses and baseball cap. He is denoted in the caption as a "Lebanese Hezbollah supporter" running

"to prevent photographers from taking pictures of a Hezbollah building destroyed in an Israeli air strike in Qana, near the southern city of Tyre, 18 July 2006"

Here is a link to the image, but if the link does not work, use the gettyimages ID for looking it up. The captions reads —

"Qana, LEBANON: A Lebanese Hezbollah supporter runs to prevent photographers from taking pictures of a Hezbollah building destroyed in an Israeli air strike in Qana, near the southern city of Tyre, 18 July 2006. Israeli jets pounded Lebanon with a blistering wave of deadly raids under the cover of darkness on today, the seventh day of an assault that has sent tens of thousands of people fleeing for their lives. This man also appears in the scenes of the rescue effort on the sunday after the alleged aistrike.

See this EUreferendum report and the images shown in it. Hezbollah was around and Hezbollah people were part of the 'rescue party' on that Sunday!
