The Kerry "Bush Lied" crowd is back onstage with their sequel: Bush Lied Part II. An attentive critic would fault them for lack of originality, for the plot line and characters are virtually unchanged.

Most people do not realize it but the Republicans do not have an operational  majority on the critical Senate Intelligence Committee and that Committee has been busily engaged in reprising the theme (which should have been discredited with the collapse of the Plame disinformation campaign).

As the Senate Intelligence Committee struggles to complete its investigation into prewar intelligence, some Republicans have become increasingly concerned that they are at a disadvantage in the bitter and partisan fight over what is known as 'Phase Two' of the probe. 'We don't have a majority on the committee,' says one Hill Republican, noting that while the GOP, of course, maintains formal control of the committee — there are eight Republicans and seven Democrats — Republican lawmakers have lost effective control because two of their own, Senators Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and Olympia Snowe of Maine, sometimes side with Democrats.

Now, National Review Online has learned that a key Republican committee staffer in the politically charged prewar intelligence investigation is a veteran of the 2004 Kerry presidential campaign. Eric Rosenbach, hired by Sen. Hagel to work on prewar intelligence issues, came to the Senate after completing studies at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government under Rand Beers, a top foreign—policy adviser for Kerry. In Fall 2004, Rosenbach took three weeks to volunteer for the Kerry campaign in York County, Pennsylvania.

'Senator Hagel knew that he worked for Rand Beers,' Hagel spokesman Mike Buttry tells NRO. 'He did not know that he had volunteered in the Kerry campaign.'

In 2004, while at the Kennedy School, Rosenbach worked on what is known as a Policy Analysis Exercise, or PAE, for the Kerry campaign. A number of students at the Kennedy School were doing similar things, and an article in the school's Autumn 2004 bulletin explains the work Rosenbach, who earned an MPP, or Master of Public Policy degree, did for Kerry, through his adviser Beers.

As you may recall, Rand Beers famously defected from the Bush Administration to work for the Kerry campaign, where among other things he co—starred with Ambassador Munchausen in the anti—war film sponsored by lefty billionaire Soros and surely helped  orchestrate  the original "Bush Lied"  lie.

The lack of an operational majority on the critical Intelligence Committee has meant that the Committee is now peddling Kerry's Bush Lied theme yet again.

A remarkable pair of reports released last week by the Senate Select committee on Intelligence re—examine for the umpteenth time the pre—war intelligence on Iraqi WMD programs and Saddam's alleged ties to al—Qaeda. The reports were produced at the demand of committee Democrats...

The absolutely stunning news, totally unreported by the formerly mainstream media, is the scurrilous effort by committee Democrats to falsify the facts, introduce phony and erroneous conclusions, and then parade about on their political high—horse to journalists who never bothered to read the actual reports.

In an unprecedented move for a committee that until 2004 was known for bipartisan efforts to conduct oversight of the intelligence community, the committee chairman 'Sen. Pat Roberts (R, Ks) ' actually dissented from the report's published conclusions on intelligence provided by Chalabi's Iraqi National Congress, as did most of the majority members....

Here you read how Vice Chairman John D. Rockefeller IV, D—WV, outvoted Roberts thanks to the defection of Senators Olympia Snowe, RINO—ME, and Chuck Hagel, R—France, and succeeded in superimposing totally bogus conclusions on an otherwise factual report.

In this report, which wildly distorts the facts and twists the intelligence reports, the targets of this insidious Big Lie are Douglas Feith, the INC (Iranian National Congress) and its head Ahmed Chalabi, popular whipping boys the claims against which are demonstrably false.

I am warning the White House that they can not afford to stand back and wait again to respond as they did with the 2003—2006 Wilson campaign. Nor should they think that the alternative media can once again save them from their perfidious enemies.
 
And in a letter to the Wall Street Journal today  John Kerry accuses the Administration of having employed reckless tactics in the war citing as authority former CIA officers and VIP mouthpieces who played a key role in Act One of this long playing Kerry orchestrated farce.

The time to deal with Rockefeller, Kerry and Beers effort to reprise the old lies is NOW!
