ABC almost made it!
Anyone who believes in the mission of the media ——— simply to tell the truth ——— had to be bitterly disillusioned by the Clinton years, when the national media were finger puppets of a wildly irresponsible White House. This year, ABC therefore grasped for a great opportunity to recover its credibility when it decided to tell the "Path to 9/11" as truthfully as possible. And the network almost made it ——— until the Clintonistas got their lawyers on the phone. Now we will see a Left—censored version of the most dangerous national trauma in recent American history. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
It is crucial for us to know the truth about 9/11, because we are constantly in danger of another attack. The world is more dangerous today than it was in 2001 ——— not because the Bush Administration hasn't tried its damndest, but because we now have a full—fledged terror regime in Tehran, speeding toward nukes. Musharraf's nuclear Pakistan just surrendered in the Northwest Territories, now called Talibanistan; the local tribes will protect Bin Laden for the foreseeable future. Just as Iran is a Shi'a terror regime, Pakistan could descend into a Sunni one. War has setbacks that the good guys have nothing to do with. Live with it. It's true.
But the scariest fact today is that half of our people are in denial, because of the dereliction of duty of our media and the Left. The ABC spat is therefore not just a self—serving power—play by Clinton leftovers. As long as the Dems are more worried about covering up the past than defending us in the future, we will go on blundering blindly toward an abyss.
Today's biggest threat is Iran. If you doubt it, just watch the little fanatic Ahmadinejad at the UN September 29. Expect him to issue an ultimatum to the West:
'You must bow down to the greatness of the Iranian nation ... If you do not return to monotheism and worshipping god and refuse to accept justice then you will burn in the fire of the nations' fury', Ahmadinejad said.
'I officially announce that Iran has joined the world's nuclear countries."
Cowards will continue deny the obvious danger. Whether ABC and the media allow the truth to be told may therefore decide our future.
