Worth a thousand words (a poem)

By

This is indeed a marvelous age.

You can squint up your eyes and act the sage

By reporting the news just as you see it.

There are plenty of outlets if you'll just agree it

Is wise to look down on the middle classes

As you seek to educate the masses.

The truth of your  impartings need not matter.

You've been blessed with superior gifts and gray matter.

And if your words are too far above them

Just doctor some pictures.  The media will love them!
