"This course intends to familiarize students with the most recent theories dealing with nationalism from a variety of angles and perspectives. In addition to covering the theoretical material, the course also examines two case studies on nationalism, Arab unionist nationalism and Zionist colonial—settler nationalism. The course will discuss issues of gender, law, sexuality, race, tradition, narration, in the context of studying the formation of national identities. Day/Time: Thursdays 4:10pm—6:00pm 3 points."
