Congressional call for a coup?

By

Just noted the full—page ad in the New York Times calling for the overthrow of Bush regime.

"Drive out the Bush Regime" is the headline.

Government is moving each day closer to a theocracy, where a narrow and hateful brand of Christian Fundamentalism will rule.

People look at this and think of Hitler—and they are right to do so. The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come.

The signers are the usual suspects BUT also include some surprises: Congressmen:

US  Representative Cynthia McKinney

US Representative Major Owens

US Representative Bobby Rush

US Represeative Maxine Waters

US representaitive John Conyers Jr.

Congressmen calling for the Driving Out of the Bush regime? Hmm, this is sort of redolent of sedition and treason, no? Is this an honorable way for right honorable Congressmen to behave? Don't they take an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution?
