Many speeches were given to mark the 1st anniversary of the London terrorist bombings, but none can beat the one given by Omar Brooks. Repeatedly poking fun of the victims, the Muslim cleric who is also known as Abu Izzadeen, described the actions of the attacks' ringleader as 'completely praiseworthy' and spoke of non—Muslims as animals and cowards who vomit and urinate in the streets. Laced with jokes, his remarks drew waves of laughter from his audience in a community center in Birmingham.

Brooks had also something to say about the September 11 events in New York. Putting on a solemn face, he told his audience that the attacks 'changed many people's lives.' Pausing for effect, he then added glibly 'especially for those inside.'

The remark brought down the house as his audience erupted in a blast of laughter.

The monstrosity of this scene is truly breath—taking: An assembly of Muslims laugh and joke at the mention of terrible atrocities perpetrated against our society by members of their own community. Rather than being outraged by these horrible crimes — as most normal human beings would — they chortle and celebrate.

The chilling truth is that these are not some kind of isolated extremists. This was a public speech attended by a sizable audience. They represent a considerable portion of Europe's Muslim population who feel the same way. There can be no doubt that Islam is at war with the West and if we do not declare war on it and its purveyors, we will be destroyed in the end.

Omar Brooks and those who so heartily laughed at his witticisms are enemies of our society and they must be treated as such. What Brooks did is akin to a Nazi giving speeches during the Second World War celebrating German victories and atrocities.

How long do you think Winston Churchill would have tolerated something like this? So far the British authorities have been glaringly derelict in dealing with such outrages. Only last week, they 'punished' the ringleader of the cartoon march on the Danish Embassy where Muslims brazenly threatened further attacks with a fine of ｣500.
