James Loney seems to need another "o" in his name, based on this report from the Canadian Press/CTV, via the invaluable Ummah News Links site. You may remember Loney's name as one of the three " Christian Peacemaker Team" members rescued by Allied forces in Iraq, after they were taken hostage and one of them executed.

Loney now has joined a protest march against Canada's system of detaining suspected foreign terrorists indefinitely without charge or trial.

Loney said he felt there were "parallels" between his situation as a hostage and the suspected terrorists, who have languished in detention for between four and six years.

This is madness. Does the man really expect Canada will start executing prisoners with no trials? Does he think he was picked—up and detained because of suspicions he was engaging in terrorism? Does he think these detainees are being held as hostage? What parallels, other than being held captive with no definite release dat?

This sort of moral imbecility only feeds the fires of those who burn with evil passion to destroy infidels like Loney. He has taken the term "useful idiot" to a new depth.
