On the road to doom
The Supreme Court has handed another victory to the terrorists in our custody who will now enjoy new levels of legal protection in addition to their Korans, prayer rugs, and three—course meals, far costlier than the fare served to our own soldiers.
This development is truly something to marvel at, since in wars past most sane people thought such non—uniformed barbarians worthy of a bullet. And rightly so, for wanton killers bent on murder, death and mayhem deserve no better.
Our friends on the left are quick to say that our indulgent treatment of these murderous fanatics is a sign of enlightenment. But this is surely not so. Rather than an indicator of moral progress, this latest ruling is a symptom of the madness which has descended on some in this nation and a milestone on the road to doom along which they cheer us on.
