Try as I might, I just cannot get this picture out of my mind. It comes from the official website of the Presidency of Iran, and accompanies the text of the notorious letter sent by Ahmedinejad to President Bush. The sheer implausibility of the whole exercise boggles my mind. Are we to believe that Mad Mahmoud actually sat down and wrote it out longhand? And the image of President Bush earnestly studying the ukase handed down from on high is simply too precious for words.

I suppose there are people who might be impressed by this sort of foolishness. Maybe illiterate Iranian Islamofascists?
