The silence of the shams

Where are our professors when their colleagues in Iran are being abused? Professors in America have the luxury to speak freely on any subject whatsoever, and have stated that this protected freedom is a core principle of education. They have the luxury to protest against America, to boycott Israel,  and to refuse ROTC admittance to campuses.

Yet America's professoriate remains silent about the oppression and torture of their colleagues and of students in Iran. How about some outrage, profs?
