Zbig Redux

By

Zbig says: If Ameirca (or Israel) strikes Iran, it would merit the designation as international outlaw, drive impeachment, and cause other dire outcomes. He assures us that Iran is headed towards evolving into Turkey.. yeah..right. Ahmadinejah and Ataturk, a couple of ideological twins there.

Zbig Brzezinski, once again to recall his history, was one of the actors whose refusal to support the Shah, fecklessness during the hostage crisis, and weak—kneed response to the Iranian militants helped give strength to the mullahs. His tacticinclude aiding militant in Afghanistan so as to weaken Russia and help encourage them to leave Poland.

More recently, Brzezinski has acknowledged that one of his motives in entangling the Soviet Union in Afghanistan was promoting the liberation of Central Europe by diverting Soviet attention from responding more forcefully to Solidarity's challenge. Yet, desirable as this end might have been, one may question whether it justified using means that would provoke an almost decade—long war in Afghanistan that both devastated the country and jump—started a global Islamic jihad against America.

And alaso gave rise to the growth of Islamic Sunni terrorism, which today afflicts the Western (and Arab) worlds.

Of all the National Security advisors and Secretaries of States we have had in the last 30 or so years, which one keeps being given rare journalistic real estate to spread his "wisdom"? One of the worst such "diplomats" we have had in the last 3 decades — but perhaps the one most willing to disparage and condemn George Bush.

In a  Washington Post column , he boldy stated,

"Time is on our side," says Brzezinski. "The mullahs aren't the future of Iran, they're the past."

Talk about rose—colored glasses.

See also Amir Taheri's column which squarely blames Carter/Brezinski for aiding and abetting the rise of Islamic fanaticism.
