The "Israel Lobby" paper and the NYT
The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The New Republic, US News & World Report, Alan Dershowitz and many others in academia and public policy have criticized the notorious paper on the "Israel Lobby" academic grounds. But the New York Times has remained completely silent on the issue, not offering one molecule of ink in rebuttal.
However, a columnist who works for their 100% owned International Herald Tribune today speaks up in favor of the Walt/Mearsheimer paper. His claim: the Israel lobby in America is linked to a foreign government (an incendiary claim with anti—Semitic dual loyalty tones).
