Ted Kennedy's moral equivalence
The senior senator from Massachusetts has a new book in which he equates the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor to what America did in Iraq to liberate millions and stop a genocidal maniac and serial war—mongerer. He writes that President Bush should have been more like his brother John, whom he praises for not launching a preventive war over the Cuban missile crisis.
He has nothing to say, of course, about JFK's failure in the Bay of Pigs, or over his leading us into Vietnam.
By the way, does anyone believe he really wrote the book all by himself?
