Debunking Plamegate
Once again, The New York Sun scoops the competition, obtaining a declassified State Depamtment memorandum that has been repeatedly mischaractized. Contrary to earlier accounts, the memorandum does not indicate Ms. Plame's role was secret, and it indicates that her husband Joseph Wilson's mission to Niger produced evidence supporting the contention that Saddam Hussein was seeking uranium there.
