Abu Laban, The Danish imam who was a key instigator of the boycott, and who traveled the Arab world publicizing the phony pig picture allegedly of Muhammad (but actually from a French hog—calling contest) is in deep trouble. Agora reports that he is accused of knowing about a planned martyrdom (i.e. suicide bomber) operation.

Danish Politicians are shocked.

Marianne Jelved of the Social Liberals:

I find it very unpleasant. Very unpleasant indeed. And I think that Abu Laban, if he wishes to remain in Denmark, ought to consider the rules here.

Helge Adam Møller of the Conservatives:

With 99 percent certainty it's an act of terrorism to which we are referring. Because a martyr operation is to blow oneself and innocents sky high. Whether it's in Denmark or someplace else, it's equally serious. It's innocents who are killed. He apparently knows something about that. If he hasn't himself gone to the police, he incurs a colossal responsibility and he is in direct breach of Danish law.

Pia Kjærsgaard of the Danish People's Party:

I have come to think that all of these more or less festering persons from the Islamic Faith Community should be interrogated, all of them, by the police naturally, and that this matter must be thoroughly investigated because it sounds very scary. And that isn't something we as politicians should let pass by. Therefore I will talk to the Justice Minister and inquire as to the reaction to this and get her to step in.

Abu Laban — has been CAUGHT speaking with two tongues:

In the Danish media he is quoted as saying he is against the widespread boycott of danish goods in the middle east.

An hour later on Al Jizeera TV he says that he thinks it is a great thing that the arab nations and people defend islam through the boycott.

I guess this is the Imam's idea of free speech! Heh. Actually, this is an old Arab Muslim trick which Arafat and Abbas used all the time. It plays upon the "willing suspense of disbelief" of Left—wing doves and appeasers. Smart people donlt fall for this trick becasue smart people know how to tell when these folks are lying. HOW?! THEY'RE LIPS ARE MOVING! (Badabumbump!)
