The NYT lauds Stevens for the Kelo decision

By

The New York Times runs an article today about the strong negative reaction to Kelo across the nation and how it has spurred lots of anti—Kelo legislation. The piece includes favorable reference to Justice Stevens who wrote the decision as sympathetic to displaced home owners.

No news being immune to twisting by the paper, they do not mention the fact that the editors supported the decision, nor the fact that Justices Scalia and Thomas dissented from it in strong terms——Thomas' dissent being the strongest possible.  Instead they laud Stevens who was with the majority which issued this destestable decision.
