Have they gone mad?
It would appear that some in Britain are greatly troubled by the possibility that the United States has used their airspace for rendition flights of suspecting terrorists. This attitude should cast serious doubts on the sanity of these people. After all, such operation would be part of the American effort to prevail over those hell—bent on destroying Western societies. Just how dangerous such people are has been brought home to the British only relatively recently with the London bombings. And yet they still seem intent on chastising the U.S. for possibly subjecting to secreted interrogation those planning mass murder in our midst.
One almost feels like crying out: 'You foolish people! It is also you America is trying to protect. Why are you so eager to undermine her efforts and make things difficult for those trying to help you? Why don't you rather spend your time and energy on thinking how to contribute to this effort? It is your survival that is at stake here too.'
