WaPo op-ed for Hamas

By

The Washington Post gives Hamas op—ed space to spin their goals and beliefs. This is shameful.

Note the author's background: indicted in the United States in 2004 as a co—conspirator on racketeering and money—laundering charges in connection with activities on behalf of Hamas

A grass—roots alternative? How about an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood funded by various brutal leaders throughout the region—Iran merely being the latest. Note to Post editorial page: they intend to impose Sahria Law and seperate the genders in the schools and elsehwere. They intend to continue their killing spree against Jews and to oppress Christians as they take over society.

How is that for civil rights? Thousands of dead civilians—seems inflated. They desire "dialogue without any prejudgement" while the Hamas charter and leaders call for the destruction of Israel? The Israelis are supposed to ignore that and all the deaths? The protection that Muslims gave to the Jewish community worldwide?

Gimme a break — the story is Muslim massacres of Jews going back, in modern times, almost one hundred years, and the murder and repression that led to hundreds of thousands of Jews fleeing Arab lands after 1948. Protection offered by the  Muslim community? How about the attacks in Europe against Jewish targets, the bombing in Argentina, Kenya, etc?

It is abominable that the WaPo would publish an op—ed that compares the Hamas Charter and beliefs to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
