Look who's suing
The ACLU and the Center for Constitutional Rights are suing President Bush, the NSA and some other agencies over the NSA surveillance program. Guess who one of the prominent plaintiffs is? None other than Rachel Meeropol, grand—daughter of Communist spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. The bloodline continues to be red, as Rachel is vice president of the New York chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, a communist—leaning organization.
Sweetness & Light is all over the story. It notes that
If what Ms Meeropol says is true [that she has been targeted], one suspects she has been having speaks with Al Qaeda members. By the way, Rachel's father is Robert Meeropl, who did not fall far from the Rosenbergs' tree either.
Among his many accomplishments, Mr Meeropol is a Communist supporter. Fidel Castro was his boyhood idol. He supports convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Rosenberg Fund for Children.
Mr Meeropol is also adamantly opposed to the War On Terror.
The grand harmonic convergence of the American left and fascism (in this case Islamofascism) is becoming ever clearer.
