We're addicted(!)

By

Hi. My name's Thomas. I'm an addict. At least according to some. My habit of spending hours a day in front of my computer now has a catchy name: Internet addiction disorder. The New York Times allows that some are skeptical.

Count me among them. After all, whe I travel I can go for hours, even a day or two, without developing any signs of withdrawal. I used to spend endless hours in libraries, reading periodicals and books. Now I spend those hours (okay, and more) on the net.

People are starting to make money treating IAD (the benign kind. The real IADs kill good people in Iraq).

So what's the name of the disease of people who read the New York Times every day? BDS?
