Time To Retire
Ramsey Clark, now there's a name
To make Americans shudder with shame.
He pops up every once in a while.
He currently stars in the Hussein trial.
Shall we be defined by a tottering mind?
Or shall we present a perhaps unkind
But totally needed benign restraint
On an old and pathetic would be saint?
We need to show the world our best.
Let retreads from bygone eras rest.
May the Clarks and Carters and Skowcrofts cease
And reminisce at ease in their own good peace.
