Canada, as every liberal knows, is a tolerant country, far more advanced than the United States. Canada's largest newspaper just published one of the more appalling statements of religious bigotry I have seen in a mainstream media outlet.

"Christmas is fast approaching, and with it, the dilemma of what to give the less likable people in our lives: office mates, ex—spouses, born—again Christians."

Imagine the furor if the paper had printed "Muslims" instead.
