Saudis continue their buying of American universities. The very same same kleptocrat who blamed 9/11 on US support for Israel (made famous by Mayor Giuliani's contemptuous return of his $10,00,000 check) is now funding Islamic studies at Harvard and Georgetown.

John Esposito, who will be the main beneficiary of the largesse, has been roundly criticized as biased towards Muslims and for providing Americans with an all—too—rosy view of Islam. Muslim—Christian understanding? How about Muslim—Christian—Jewish—Hindu understanding? Or something more universal?

I am not expecting much emphasis on the violent history of jihad.
 
I guess American Univeristies will now have more money loosened up to spend on highly—paid administrators and part—time professors.
