Washington Post scrubs the record

By

In a blog item titled  "Uncover the Stars of Uncovered " I described Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity and their role in the Plame matter   (VIPS)and the Kerry campaign film  "Uncovered".  A leading member of VIPS appeared in October 2003 on the Washington Post online to air his lies about that case and the Administration.

An astute Free Republic member documents how the Washington Post has scrubbed that from its site. Fortunately he saved it so all is not lost. The Washington Post seems to be taking a far different tack than it took in the run up to the last Presidential election:It has scrubbed Goodman; corrected Pincus' fake reports, and Woodward has come forward respecting his source for the Plame name.

Is it a coincidence, or has the Washington Post finally paid attention to the fact that they consistently promoted a serial liar who was working to aid the Kerry campaign? Is it irrelevant that we appear to have made incredible progress on the ground in Iraq, contrary to the dire predictions of the misnamed VIPS?
