Lastango, at the Daily Pundit, is worried about a spate of recent attacks and threats against prominent conservatives. I have long called by the most vigorous possible prosecution of crimes of violence in the name of politics, whether it be cream pies in the face, nails in tires of vans parked at Republican Party offices in Milwaukee, or online threats.

The Nazis took over Germany with considrable assistance from street thugs in the SA; communist parties often resort to violence, and so do union thugs.
