Miers nomination skeptics in verse
Responding to the following statement by Ryan Sager at TCS:
"No one serious (and perhaps no one at all) is making the case that Miers is "qualified," in any conventional sense of the word, to serve on the Supreme Court"
I offer this Rhyme:
To the Nay Sayer
Beware ye the all encompassing Naught,
Before thy Tongue by words is caught.
Never' say 'no one' or possibly 'neither',
or find thyself cast as hardened believer.
Couldst not thou beg friend Google search,
Before thy heart assume the worst?
Good Carpenters do make a Case
to fit in any manner Place.
For on my birth they did not shout
Tis Naught come forth
Tis Naught come out.
Indeed dear midwife verifies
Tis not Naught that makes such cries!
'Conventional' do I my Constitution find.
By Law alone I do define.
For all thy nay saying words imperious
Thou canst not deny my belief be Serious.
Sincerely.
Serious DoGood
