Where to start with this self—pitying parody written by Joe Wilson? He did not seem so put—upon on the cover of Vanity Fair with his blonde, beautiful wife and his Jaguar convertible. His high—profile fame has lead to innumerable speeches and his post as an adviser to the Kerry Presidential campaign,not to mention a reported seven figure book contract. This is a man who has reveled and capitalized on his "martyrdom". Without it he would have remained an obscure functionary.
