Germany gets a new PM

DavidsMedienkritik is posting the news that Gerhard Schroeder is officially out, and will be replaced by Angela Merkel, who will lead a "grand coalition." Unfortunately, such coalitions have a tendency toward paralysis. Time will tell, of course, but Merkel has a lot to lose if she cannot bring about reforms and get Germany's economy going.
