Earth to Scowcroft
Brent Scowcroft says there has been 50 years of peace from the Middle East? He calls himself a "realist"? How about all the terrorism issuing from that part of the world; Iraq's invasion of Kuwait and our response—the Gulf War of 1991 under Scowcroft's watch? Iraq's invasion of Iran; the various Israeli—Arab wars, Egypt's support of Yemen turmoil in the 1960s, etc. Maybe Scowcroft forgot to mention his involvement in the Saudi—financed Carlyle Group and the millions he has reaped from cozying up to Arab dictators?
