A "turn it over to the UN —— America cannot be trusted" ethos pervades Kerry supporters and the Democratic Party. The idea that the Congressional Black Caucus would ask for UN ivolvement illustrates the desire to get the General Assembly (dominated by anti—American despots) involved in running US policy. I could go further about how minorities here want the Thrid World to exercise power here (illegal immigrants, etc.). But that point will undoubtedly be illustrated quite often in the future, so it can wait.
