DEBKAfile  never fails to amuse, even if some of its reports look suspiciously like disinformation. They have a through—the—other—end—of—the—telescope report out on the anarchy in the Gaza Strip. Arafat, you see, is orchestrating the entire rebellion. Using it as an excuse to wipe out his opponents, enrich and entrench his allies, and pretend that he is reforming.

Our Olivier Guitta sees it differently, as a disintegration of  Arafat's Kingdom. Most of the world's press, from the Jerusalem Post to Le Monde  , see it as Olivier does. Nebertheless, it can be fun to look through the other end, and consider a completely different explanation.
